"C" as in Sally

A boy came up to me the other day
He said his name is Bobby Lee.
He said he was three
and could say his ABC's.

He started with A.
He said the letter
with a long breath
and added as in acne.

He moved to B.
His lips went tight
and he blew out a childish kiss
and added as in bumblebee.

He went to C
And smiled real wide
while hissing a giant grin
and added as in Sally.

I waited for the other to be
but he stood still and proud.
"What about the others?"
"There's only A and B and C," he beamed.
