My Salvation

my salvation lies
in your love

my salvation lies
in your love

I hope you know that I rest in you and your home.
I cannot survive without your strength, your might.
I await your glance, your nod,
your nod.

my fate rests
in your hands

my fate rests
in your hands

I believe in you and in your work.
I surround myself in your art, in your creation.
I await your plan, your story,
your story.

my heart cries
out to your ears

my heart cries
out to your ears

I love the sound of your voice terrible and awesome.
I drown myself in chorus, in your melody.
I await your psalm, your song,
your song.

inspiration comes from somewhere
use what inspires you and make it your own

Orange Sky constantly brings me to my knees

BTW it is good to hear from you again old friend

it does seem as though there is an inter-relatedness regarding beauty and inspiration. well said.

i had no idea that you'd heard the song...very cool that you've been so powerfully moved by it.

hope you're well.
cheers,
bryan

sorry miscommunication...

that post was meant for an email.

tabs got mixed up

I placed this comment on the email:

I find myself wrapped up in myself and it is art that makes me aware of others and in that I worship when my chains are gone.

Doesn't make since, maybe, but that is what I feel true inspiration & worship becomes when we shed our skin for another

even for a moment.

well said, friend. there is truly something of god that we experience in the face of the other when we are able to shake free from self-centeredness.
